MEET PAULA SALAS
Founder of Paula Marie Wellness & creator of Somatic Repatterning
Like many of the women I work with, my healing journey began deep in the physical.
In my twenties, I was debilitated by severe MCAS, mold toxicity, Lyme, thyroid, and gut issues.
I cycled through detoxes, diets, cleanses, and supplements in a relentless attempt to fix my body.
Some things helped. Many didn’t.
And even when I improved, it never truly held.
Everyone was talking about nervous system regulation — but I couldn’t access what they were describing.
Therapy kept me looping in vigilance.
Brain rewiring felt overwhelming and unsustainable.
Nervous system tools did nothing for my body.
I understood the concepts.
I just couldn’t embody them.
What changed everything was discovering emotional release work.
For the first time, my body began letting go — not because I was trying harder to regulate, but because the underlying patterns driving my symptoms were finally being resolved.
My nervous system stabilized.
My symptoms softened.
And all the work I had already done began to integrate instead of fighting itself.
Since that moment, I’ve devoted my life to understanding the intersection where physical symptoms, emotional patterns, and the nervous system meet.
Through extensive training, lived experience, and over 4,000 client sessions, I developed what is now the Somatic Repatterning™ Method — a body-led approach designed to resolve what regulation and protocols alone often can’t reach.
As this work deepened, it became clear that it wasn’t meant to live through me alone.
